... him - who offered me some fresh coconuts.
"No risk - no fun" ?!
Apparently lots of people in Thailand die after being hit by a coconut
- most likely they are as nuts as I trying to catch a good picture...

This is his buddy who is collecting the nuts...
This guy who got these coconuts with so much effort down from the palm tree offered them to us for free. I do not know enough about Thailand's culture to know why - or how one is supposed to react. But basically being in the middle of busy Bangkok I was astonished. I thought Thailand was overloaded with Tourists leaving people with bad habits as overcharging and such - as I experienced on Bali. Maybe this guy is the one exception - but I was truly moved. (We made it a trade off - exchanging the nuts for two cold tiger beers for him and his pal...)
