Street food everywhere:
Our last hours in Xiamen started with a fruit breakfast.
Yummy Squid and stuff on sticks (no I was a chick - did not try it).
Ain't that just looks beautiful?!
Chinese are so cute!
Xiamen's Botanical Garden
is a nature lover's paradise.
Looked like some road in Oz to me...
Unfortunately we entered through a side gate and walked for ages without getting anywhere, so when we got to the area with the flowers we flew through with a electric park car on our search for food.
Yeah well you gotta house them somewhere right?!
Special pine trees
Some memorial
Lake and Golf course
Loads of school classes strolling about.
When we came to a picnic ground there was no ground not covered by kids.
The hotel - quite an interesting airy construction....
The train station
Come on?! What are they checking for. We are going on a *** train.
Note: three beds stacked, no doors and that over the full lenghts of a rail carriage.
The hallway of our luxury carriage. Carpet, doors and curtains.
Luxury four bed cabin. If we would have known, we would have bought the other two beds. Oh well our neighbours were ok. Old Mother and grown up son (we guess). Spent 13h hours in this cabin. So happy when I got out. One and never again. I am to old for this kind of adventure....
