Gulangyu, also known as
Piano Island, is a popular weekend getaway with views of the city Xiamen and features
many Victorian-era style European edifices.
Had brekky on the bus on our way to the ferry. The ferry ride was short and not to pleasant had a sardines-feeling.
Indian bean tree or Chinese catalpa
Apparently Chinese like to get out after their wedding and take loads of shots for the album. I mean looads of couples and loooads of shots. Seriously!
Notice the bath tube featured in the back.
Would have loved to rent two bikes to explore the island but unfortunately no rental place could be found...
Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
Ill be watching you
Every single day
And every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
Ill be watching you
Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
Ill be watching you
And every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
Ill be watching you
Every single day
And every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
Ill be watching you
Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
Ill be watching you
Some workshop where you can get your things fixed.
Oh so romantic...
... well! ;D
This is one of our typical lunches. I took a pic to state that for 10 Yuan (1.15 EUR) you get quite a decent meal, which is amazing. I believe it was 2 for the rice and 8 for the veggies. Not sure anymore though.
Isn't he the coolest dude ever?!
The words on his apron next to the bunny read "Sweet Melody".
View of the city Xiamen in the distance.
fresh supply for the swarms of tourists
Cutest cat ears ever!
As said loads of couples, loads of locations - but oh so beautiful!
Found a bit of peace and quiet...
Unfortunately not as yummy as it looks - but still a great spot!
Sitting here sipping coffee we had a lovely chat with a cute newly wed couple.
I was shameless (as usual - when it comes to photography) ...
... took as many shoots as I could. <3
Find the dog hidden in the picture...
Subtropical - New Orleans feeling.
Crazy island - beautiful houses and gorgeous nature.
Having some relaxing drinks at the end of a wonderful day.
Met this cute Chinese girl - she had a broken heart and Margaritas - what a night.
Coolest guy ever. On our first night, when we wanted to order drinks and there was no English menu he said - "Just tell me what you want." In a way we wanted to tell him anything but our order. ;P
